Sermon: This World Is/Not My Home?
The day before the 2017 Presidential Inauguration, I preached at the chapel at Iliff School of Theology. I believe sermons are an act of pastoral care and prophetic witness and should come out of and to the community gathered. In short, the context matters. At this left-leaning institutions, faculty, staff, and students openly distressed about the election and its fallout. This sermon was my response from within the community, delivered to the community.
